Nothing, we're using multiverse. The current survival world will remain intact, and players of the PVP event will be teleported to a different map hosted on the same server. I'm sure you're familiar with how that works, given your extensive knowledge of Minecraft stuff. No worries about your stuff.

I do not use mods other than Technic pack. I don't use texture packs. As a wiki editor, I'm trained to not care what individual users with no official association do unless it comes to some significance (such as the aforementioned Technic pack). I find that noticeable client side edits like changing textures for the entire game to cause breaks in immersion should I view someone else's game.

Um...alright, good to know. Multiverse is a very significant mod, but NOW YOU KNOW, I guess. Haha, if anyone ever comes to me with Q's on the technic pack, I'll point them in your direction.

That can be arranged, no doubt. We'll likely use some parts of the Hunger Games bukkit mod, but not all of them. We'd like to make the project as original possible, but we're going to take advantage of the infrastructure that already exists around the idea.

My mistake, in the tiny invisible text where I announced the PVP event, I mistakenly wrote that the event is on Saturday the 27th.

The 27th of April is a Friday. The event will indeed take place on a Friday. Please vote in the poll so we know how many people to expect, and invite your friends to register!
