You realize Iraq has been at war with itself since Biblical times right? Like, even the Bible talks about how much those sandmondays liked to do nothing except kill each other and burn down each other's cities. Alright, we weren't there for oil despite popular belief. It was supposed to be a "security action" to keep america "safe" but it didn't really do anything. This was like vietnam but with less casualties. We fought it with one hand behind our backs but I'm glad it's over! No need to be wasting our resources there cuz we got some other stuff to deal with
