It has not yet been resolved. Hopefully someone will figure this out. :)

Like this? I've tried deleting my cache, still no luck,

That is not the same file that is on the server.  What's happened here is that your ISP has intercepted the image and replaced it with a smaller recompressed version.  This is usually done under the guise of download acceleration or bandwidth saving for dialup and mobile connections.  I changed the content-disposition of the file, so please download and reupload again so we can see if it made a difference. http://cloud.blockland.us/blobs/6e33808a256f309c3ab06b31d7e8535d4dcd5f94

There.

If I click the image to make it laerger and download it, it's a bigger file. But still no luck. I've been putting the image in the screenshots folder in my doculents. is that correct?

Well there isn't much I can do here short of encrypting the connection or files somehow or putting everything in zip files to prevent your ISP from monkeying with the images.  The faster solution for you would be to configure your connection settings to not use image recompression.

I googled and found this post relevant to verizon:

By reading all the answers on this page, I was finally able to figure this out on my machine. This has been driving me crazy for weeks!!  I use a Verizon Wireless card, so I go to the VZAccess program that I use to connect to the internet.  Within that program window, I went to the Tools...Preferences, then switched to the Venturi tab where I have the option to turn image compression on or off and then specify highest or lowest quality image.  I have now fixed it and all images are coming across the way they should.  I imagine that for anyone that connects to the internet using a wireless provider, there should be some sort of Tools...Properties within your own connection window.  Good luck!!

i do not have verizon is there another way to deactive my image compression?

I use a verizon card so this must be my problem, but I have no Venturi tab.

Apparently the program that gives you that tab isn't on my computer. Also, I've looked through guides on turning off the image compression but they're all designed for a different VZAccess Program. I can't find any supporting mine.
