Yes, ladies and gentlemen, he is announcing a SEARCH ENGINE.

It's called WireDoo and supposedly will stand apart from Google with its ability to "deep search" by going for related keywords as well.

Personal opinion: That's loving stupid. If I wanted to search "mitsubishi galant '95" I'm sure as hell not gonna pay attention to the related keyword "mitsubishi galant '98". Very rarely do "related keywords" actually work. When google gives me "related keywords" it's usually the corrected spelling of something I searched. When YouTube tries to generate related keywords for my videos, it's some outland-ish subject like "racing" when I'm uploading a video about Minecraft. God knows what Bing does for related keywords but I can't be assed to find out.

Exactly. It's like EA entering the DRM market, Steam already dominates it.

There are so many companies wasting time and money going into fields they have no hope of chasing. The only exception is Google+ vs Facebook but due to FB's already-gained popularity it isn't successful.

Bad brown townogy, the average person knows about Google and uses it day to day. The average person however, does not know what Steam is or has every heard of Valve. Many have heard of EA though due to its many popular titles and the whole EA Sports franchise. So if EA pushes this Origin thing far enough they could easily outnumber Steam in number of users. Steam is for nerds like us, Origin will wind up being for the general consumer and at that point theyre definitely gonna be dominating...

yes and if EA started advertising their origin on the PC and OH THESE GAMES theyd easily move lol
