If I buy a new one, I'm not going to get another 550 or 600. I'm looking at 750 or 800. I want to be able to SLI eventually.

I know nothing about PCs, sorry bro :(

Thanks for posting. 9/10

If you want that much wattage you'll be looking at around at least 100, in order to get a good-quality one.

There was an Apevia Warlock 750w for like $60 with good ratings, but it's out of stock everywhere. Discontinued maybe. :(

How does a disc drive relate to the computer crashing though?

The disk drive is restarting. As in power was lost for a moment. That could be a sign of my system being underpowered.

My DVD drive was restarting, but I tried it again after unplugging it. My hard drive is popping. Then it restarted. All this just in a game (Shattered Horizon) menu. A menu. Wtf.

Someone explain.

I can hear the fans slow down right before the HD clicks.

You'll likely find yourself spending more than $50. I suggest doing so either way to get a good quality PSU as it's a pretty important component...

Not sure about your crashing problem, from your post above mine maybe your HDD is beginning to fail? How long have you had it for?

Don't get another bad quality PSU. Gotta get out of that habit man.

So clicking?

Sounds like your hard drive.
