Author Topic: My picture thumbnails don't show.  (Read 958 times)

I have so many issues with my computer and now I have a new one. How do I fix this?

Not what I meant, but that could possibly be a problem with the buffer, recursive part of generating thumbnails, etc. Have you tried deleting that file for thumbnails it makes?

I assume you already tried right click>refresh?

C:\Documents and Settings\Tony\My Documents\My Pictures

Tony?

Try repairing your thumbnail cache. I know in Windows 7 you can do this in disk cleanup. Might work for XP too.

If not, enable hidden files and remove thumbs.db. Refresh the folder.

C:\Documents and Settings\Tony\My Documents\My Pictures

Tony?
You're kidding, right?
Are you seriously surprised at that?

Folder Options, View, Do not cache Thumbnails.
Has to regenerate thumbnails each time you open the folder (shouldn't be a problem unless you're running a Pentium II.)
I've had this happen on an older computer recently and I found that option fixed it.

It also saves space on your HD if you're using a 20GB disk
