I tried lowering and disabling every setting on my laptop, didn't help, it may be different depending on your system, but it didn't work for me

My Toshiba laptop runs it quite nicely.

EDIT: Joining now, I have a WIP build I need to finish.

You're thinking wrong
It only mutes a user for himself, other people can still read what the user types
