He traced the two things in the gif (moon and castle-thingy) and is trying to pass it off as his.

Sure, tracing isn't exactly bad-looking but it's definitely a scummy thing to do in a drawing

1. How does one trace the moon? It's a circle.
2. It's quite possible he didn't trace the castle and just use d it for reference material, it's a rather standard looking fantasy palace.
