So anyway, getting straight to the point, I’ve been dealing with a lot of trolls and haters lately. And I mean a decent amount. Mostly through notes, but some have been brave enough to post on my profile page comment box or my deviations. They honestly aren’t worth my time, but when they come at me in waves, or are just so stupid they can’t actually back up what they’re saying, or worse yet, attack my friends, I have a problem. I’m no white knight. I believe that all problems should be fixed by those who are directly involved. BUT! What I will not tolerate is some moron coming up to me and being all snarky, thinking they know all there is to know about me and my work. Thinking they have a right to tell me who, or what I am, and even going so far as to target my friends just because they don’t like me.
And as Eden is demonstrating right now, I’m putting my foot down.
A hater is a person who targets and cramps on another person merely because they either see them as a threat, want what they can’t have, or see who they can’t be. Sorry y’all, but it’s the truth. I'm NO hater, and I’ve learned not to let the idiots out there walk all over me like a doormat, and hone my focus on my OWN life and abilities. Just because someone is better or worse than you, or their stuff isn’t like what you like, doesn’t mean you have the right to go around and put them down. Having an account on DeviantART is a privilege, not a right. I’ve said this many times before, but the true people who belong on DA are those who want to show what they love to do. To show that they aren’t afraid of showing the world how to express themselves, and to all you people out there who fit that criteria, I applaud you.
The rest of you just need to buzz off and let the real artists show off their swag.
So, here’s the deal. Don’t accuse me of something you can’t prove. Don’t talk to me if you have nothing good to say. Don’t come near my friends if you just want to troll someone, and don’t EVER think for a SECOND that you can walk all over me. Because sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't.
I love all my friends, my amazing watchers, and all those artists out there who are willing to stand up and strut their stuff. It takes guts, guys. So no matter who they are, all REAL artists of DA deserve some love.~
