According to the government, this upcoming winter is supposed to be the coldest one in decades. Yay~Was it significantly cold anywhere else in North America?

Now you must suffer Napoleon's curse once again. PREPARE FOR SNOWFLAKES
Where I live, temperature should reach around -50o in proper conditions. (-58 for USA peeps)I live in central BC.What about you?
Ooooh. You live in BC. I just took you for one of those Americans who only get the nice side of winter. Like 80% of the forums. But I live in Calgary, so yeah. BC is colder. But the problem with Calgary, is that it's still fairly cold, but we don't get very much snow. My parents have a vacation home in BC and there's still enough snow so that it's fun and it's not cold ALL the time, unlike Calgary were there's enough snow for tobogganing, but it's too cold to stay out for a while.

We've had some pretty unnatural weather this year in the Midwest. We've had the wettest storms and hottest summer and probably soon to be the coldest winter in years.
