Should Ladios march on Oakland?

So I live less than 10 minutes by transit from all these Oakland Occupation shenanigans and it's really starting to piss me off with how poorly the police and people there are handling things. Almost to the point in which I'd wanna get involved.
I heard that alot of people will be attending a mass march tomorrow and I don't know if now is the time I should join in, if I even should.
Anyone have opinions on the subject?

these protests seem to be vague and counter-productive, I've yet to see any impact other than citizens going to jail / getting beat up.
