I can't sleep

Currently been up for about 60-70 hours, mild to moderate hallucinations, and definitely hearing voices.

I went to the doctor for this problem, to no avail, prescription is ineffective.
Resorting to abusing benzodiazepines prescribed for my Bipolar disorder. Have this sense of fear, dread, paranoia.
Completely underestimated tolerance, ineffective.
Feel like I was hit by a semi truck, I can't think properly, hallucinations getting more real and frightening, back to the benzos
Finally get some "quality" sedated sleep. All in all a terrible ordeal, extremely frightening.

~Ripped from a little journal I wrote during the forementioned.

Anyone else have sleeping problems, mental problems, phobias and the like?

Woah. Get sleeping pills?

Sleep with the lights on, while trying to get to sleep focus on something.
I suggest listening to an audiobook. You really have to focus on the story and the the words though,
don't let your mind wander off or it won't work.
