Folks, never pair one of Poliwag's evolutions with a Voltorb evolution.
Ever.

Go to the safari zone and only throw rocks.
See how many you can make faint.

That'll teach those dumb pokemans.

I remember going into the Safari Zone again and again and again in LeafGreen.
I was trying to get Kangaskhan and Chansey, and I could never find either
and whenever I found Chansey it ran away :P

EVILLZ

My favorite aspect of Pokemon was always the secret bases, I loved those so much. I remember the day I got Sapphire and my brother got Ruby when I was about 11 9 I can't even remember hurr, it was sooo amazing. And then Leaf Green and Fire Red and the wireless adapter that came with it hehehe (though we didn't realize it was basically a remake of the classic but it was still rad).

I remember my friend had FireRed and I had LeafGreen, we would constantly battle to see who would win.
He pretty much copied Ash's team from that time period, so I worked around that.

Ash - proof that TV shows of games lie to make them seem cooler.

Seriously, the dude never evolved his stuff and still won fights.  Hell, in the show where he fought Brock (One of the first ones) his Pikachu just beats up the enemy despite the loving elemental disadvantage.

Golem = Ground/Rock, no?

Ground = Invincible to Electric.
mind.
forget.

After I beat Silver version my friend told me how to clone Pokemon on it. Then my strategy was to use hyperbeam and then switch to the next clone so there would be no recharging. I had 6 level 81+ Typhlosions, they 1-hit killed everything.

We need to play some Pokemon Online, people.

It would be fun to see your preferred selections.
