Dear people saying Facebook is bad

i enjoyed the net when people still emailed, messengers, used real blogs, owned real webpages.
facebook combines everything on the net into a dumbed down stuffpile.

it was nice when ironically, the only people that SHOULD be heard on the net, are the ones with means to own a website.
its a shame :(

The only thing I don't like about facebook is when someone is talking to someone in the hallway, and I hear "SO ON FACEBOOK, BLAHBLAHBLAH BITCH ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS ON FACEBOOK BLAH BLAH"

My school is fairly mature or w/e, so they don't talk about Facebook or video games in the hallway. So I wouldn't know about it.

On topic: I calculated that Facebook gained users 20000 times faster than radio did lol. Think about that. Now think about the stupidy you see on facebook. Now imagine that becoming socicially acceptable at a rate you can't even imagine.

You're missing the point.
Facebook is known by almost everyone in developed countries (e.g. the people who anyone gives a stuff about lol) and used by almost as many.
And it's just a website owned by one privte corperation, made origionally by one man.
