At the end the zombies and hoomens realize their differences are minor and their constant fighting is getting neither anywhere in life/afterlife so the zombies reveal their intelligent side and aid the hoomens in scientific progress and technological advancements which allows them to build a time machine to go back in time and stop the zombies from existing and the hoomen guy falls in love with a zombie person and there's this long heartbreaking scene right before he stops the zombies from existing but then he doesn't do it and the zombie is liek "OGM THX LUV" and they live happily ever after in Canada.
