You obviously don't seem to get my point.

I do, but anyone who does that is handicapped.

And because I love repeating myself I said that once done you'll have to package everything appropriately and that as far as "seeing a concrete or stone texture sky box" you are wrong. You will see the sky color that can be set with the sky environment.

It's far easier to include the skybox in your map's folder while creating the map. You can reference it easier, and there are no arguments.

Which program do you use to make skyboxes?
There are many. SkyPanorama, SpaceScape, Terragen, etc.

I use one that's not even supposed to be a skybox generator. It was free (offer was taken down,) and is a great rendering tool irregardless.

Do you have any examples of your skyboxes Koopa?

Click for full size. Took approximately 40 seconds to make.

Some other examples are my maps (on RTB Download Manager) Bedroom - Morning, Slate Rainbow, and Slate Double Rainbow.
make sure they're submitted by Squirtle, because I think there was a stufftier slate rainbow on there.

It's pretty much a student copy of DAZ Production's Bryce 5.5, it was free for a period of time (I got it before the offer expired, lucky me,) and I've done some cool rendering shiz with it as well.

1)  Since v19 updates, all textures for skies are either provided blank or missing.

2)  Packaging and error checking a map takes me a minute and a half.  If you don't want to do it correctly because it takes too long/requires too much effort, you are either slow or are still new to map-making.

3)  If you create a tutorial, NEVER provide flawed and controversial information.  Quality Add-Ons are never an ease-of-access project.

Lol if it's such a big deal for you to copy and paste some files into a .zip and change the target within the .mis then do whatever aloof method you want. This conversation is over.

You didn't imply that in the OP.

Anyways,

Koopa if you have any skyboxes that you've made and want them added to the OP just post them here. Please put them in a .zip folder and  upload a 256x256 preview picture and I'll gladly add them.

Alright, I'll make quite a few when I'm done my work, they're not hard to render (nor do they take that long to render,) and I can do some over my school work.

Scratch that, I'll post 'em when I get back on Monday.
