We don't do everything for the benefit of the "still living"

Human rights are to be taken into concern in a situation like this. We need to compress and restrict.

What's stupid about it?
We don't lose anything.
We keep all the benefits but lose all downsides, best idea ever right?
Oh god double post kill me.
How is mindlessly killing everyone in a continent a benefit and keeping them alive a downside?

It's not like you have to go to Africa or even acknowledge the continent.

They solved the war by killing everyone.
They won because Japan resigned because they were afraid they would kill even more people.
Let me rephrase this so you understand my point.

We humans, as a race, solve problems that we face, as a race, before they wipe out the entire race. This can be proven by the vast amount of global problems we've faced and the fact that humans still exist.

We stop wars before everyone on the planet dies.

Wowow, halt right there.
With kill everyone I meant kill everyone on the enemy side.
Or a vast majority of that.
Or just alot.
Not everyone.

@ Aces
We put alot of resources into that part of the world.
For no real reason.
They effectively give us less resources with no apparant reason for doing so apart from 'human compassion'.

My original point included everyone. I know you misinterpreted me and I know what you meant. I was telling you what I meant.

Who is the enemy in this situation?

The only nations who are considered our "enemies" are dictatorships, so the people who live there aren't even responsible for international relations.

Well then we both have conflicting definitions of something and as a result we can't argue properly :c

Just adapted the word enemy to fit my 'Nagasaki + Hiroshima' example.

This thread got derailed to stuff so quickly.

Because helping the needy is a part of showing feelings toward those who need.
Giving and not expecting anything back may be useless to you, but I atleast would use that option if I wanted to.
Again, no one is making anyone donate $5 to a little boy in Africa. They do it because they want to.

We need to have a zombie apocalypse c:

The next thing you know this entire forum will be hired by the US military to derail Russian train troop and supply transports.

Also, stuff started hitting the fan when humans ruled out natural selection.
Now that we have medicine etc, evolution has completely stopped.
Normally if some guy had a better sense of smell he'd survive better, and pass that on.
Or a better immune system.
And the ones without that would just get eaten by a tiger.

We're going to reach the carrying capacity soon and a natural drop-off will occur.

Problem is that retirement stuff will keep us in economical recess anyways.
