Phy could you make Covertible version of the Turismo?
I've thought about it, but what I decided instead is that eventually I will make a whole new Converti add-on named Converti 2, or something better if I think of it.

What's this???
Could it be???

Proper Shadows!!! omgwtf its about time phy!

Thank god for Stratofortress!
Story:
I joined his server randomly, because it was the only thing that seemed interesting at the time.
He had happened to recently figure out how to make shadows work with a new jet he made and exported via milkshape.
Spilled me the details, I tried it, it worked, I refined it, and now you can expect a metric stuff-ton of updates soon too all of my vehicles.

Here is how I do it:
1.
Make a vehicle in milkshape
2. Every mesh group must have a 32 at the end of the name
    (ex: body32, antenna32, interior32, seat32, etc)
3. Duplicate the vehicle's outer mesh groups, and end their names with 0. This is the mesh that will cast the shadow, so details on the inside should not be duped.
    (ex. body0, antenna0)
4. Dupe the same groups as above again, but this time end the names with 31. This mesh will be drawn by the game at a far distance, so its ok to remove more small details, such as door handles. This may seem like an unnecessary mesh group, but this wont work without it.
    (ex. body31, antenna31)
5. Create a simple convex collision mesh, and name it collision-1
6. Export with Torque DTS Plus. Double check the LOD of your groups. There should be a body with 32 LOD, a body with 0 LOD and a body with a 31 LOD
7. Spawn vehicle in Blockland.

That's loving awesome.
And Strato still plays?

Yeah he was testing out a homing rocket launcher that has to be locked on to a target first, and what looked like a newer better version of his F16. He just doesn't have access to the forums is all.

Phy, will you ever release that ferrice wheel? :o

I probably will now that it has proper shadows

Very nice! You plan on making shadows for all your vehicles, you say?

With shadows things look 100 times better.

I know right? I feel so much better about my vehicles now. No more ridiculous laughable boxes. I also don't have to worry about trying to learn blender to remake everything.
And yes I am also improving the collision meshes too.
It is also kind of cool because it brought me into using draw distances. I wanted to get into it eventually. By this I mean, the game will draw a less detailed, less graphically demanding model of the car at a distance. However it is only a small start; the vehicle only loses quality at an extreme distance and is hardly noticeable visually.

Draw distance is something that I should probably start practise too, for an optimal performance.

Also, you should get around remaking your delivery van :P

That's a someday project, lol. Same with making a new converti, and maybe even a new minivan for the hell of it, haha.
But these working shadows just might motivate me enough, so who knows.

The ship in the stuff.png is crazy awesome.
