Author Topic: Mediafire burrrrns!  (Read 2519 times)

Yes yes, we've all been there thousands of times, and for those of us with crappier computers, We've all gotten the popups and errors. Why do people keep using this site for addons/file hosting and whatnot? Do other sites require payed membership? What's goin on here.  :panda:

Save your avatar criticism.

there's ads so then you don't have to pay
mediafire is just pretty simple to use

Easy, free, hosting service.

Use Ad Block to Block the Ads
or Use Skipscreen(works like a charm)

Don't download add ons then.... unless theyre from RTB

people don't know ifile.it exists

because it's a good service and you don't have to pay for it

The last few times I opened it,

  • Several popups (Some of which managed to slip past the blocker)
  • One error (Webpage said it wouldn't open, When the message was closed it just popped up again. Had to use the task manager to close it.
  • Very sluggish on my computer for some reason, and it's not a bad computer, either.

Box.net ..whatever it is.. doesn't seem too bad but I'm sure there's some gimmick they're using to suck money off of you for using it. :s

Mediafire is the best file host site for free.  Seriously.  Where as other sites make you wait like half a minute to a minute just for downloading a 5 mb file, Mediafire doesn't cut your richard off with that stuff.

I never got a serious ad from there

Who wants me to make free file hosting from my website?

Who wants me to make free file hosting from my website?

Sure.

Mediafire is better then most sites. Especially using ad-block.

Quick everyone,
Open an explorer window and type ftp://pecon.us
Use the username hosting@pecon.us and the password guest. (Port 21 if you need that)
There is a folder there for everyone to use.
All files in that folder can also be viewed/downloaded from http://hosting.pecon.us/
