?  It even has a typo, an actual site releasing news about valve would not make such an obviously handicapped typo.  It's a tiny article written by some troll.

They would not update the half life series in the same way they update TF2, that is literally impossible.  Unless you're fixing bugs, you can not "update" a game with nothing but a story mode to give you more story in a sensible way.  Unless he plans on releasing one level at a time, that isn't going to happen.
