"recertified" eh.

It's a Core i7 and a 560M, it's a powerhouse but it's also a power whore.  It's also very large, but again it's super powerful.
Battery life will be mediocre unless you switch to integrated Intel graphics when you go on battery.  Playing games except for very low-end basic 2D games while on battery is not recommended by me because it'll drain your battery like crazy and it can drain the life of your battery.

Take into consideration all factors for what you will use it for.

BTW you get a free juicer with it, while supplies last.

Your $400 laptop was likely a piece of crap even if it was recertified.  Used/recertified brings the price down a little bit.

What do you estimate the battery life is?

The reason why i could afford a $700 dollar laptop is because it's going to be a late christmas present.
Because my dad wont have much money at christmas. I chose to wait and get the 300 dollar extension.
It's called saving.

I can't tell at all.  There's nothing on the capacity of the battery on the specifications page and it's recertified, as in it's been used probably a bit already.

Always go to amazon.com and look up your laptop's name/brand/model # + "battery" and you'll get really cheap results.  I got my laptop's battery for less than $50 compared to Acer's $120+.

loving LOL.  When did you buy that pile of crap!?  Almost everything from Dell's Latitude line is a pile of crap unless you fork over $1200+ for something decent at best but even then you could get better for less.

A Latitude D620 is absolute horsestuff.  Pentium M single core, maybe 1GB of RAM pre-included if you're lucky and a really, REALLY weak integrated Intel GMA chip that can't even handle 1080p.  I hope to God you're not even attempting to play 3D games.

try yelling at it and telling it that it will never be the son you wanted it to be.
