They restricted iPad's even more?
Wtf can you do on it, Ibooks?
Here at my school you have to go through this authentication process that uses Wifi and packets the master server. You may do whatever when you are done with your school work(so I've heard, I don't have any of the 6-7 grade classes.).

Crappy network and adminstration is what you get for letting the liberals take over the schools.

And if you find an exploit. THEY ARE ALWAYS WATCHING ALWAYS. Like right now:3

bein a dumbass is what you get for baselessly parroting your parents' political views
this post is a perfect example

Yeah, I used to be able to access the Command Prompt on the old computers, but that was quickly seen and abolished. The old computers are super loving hard locked down to were I.E it slow as richards(hence richardsplorer). You cant even access the hard-drive, you have to use a USB to get into the My computer window(to be able to use my documents)

I simply logged out, and logged in on Administrator to do my work. They try to scare us by saying they have a key-logger on the computers, which really just logs what websites you visit. Of course, the file is stored in simply the school's drive, which, again is easy enough to delete all the log files and plant a text file simply saying "Administrator note: Log files deleted to make room for more."

Me and a few friends could probably wreak havoc in the school, by loving with the school things like passwords and changing settings from the Principal's computer, which he lets all the kids use, considering it's sitting in the office.

My school blocks anything and everything.
You have to look for shockwave files to play a game on them.

I don't bother hacking into my school's admin stuff because tablets can not access the server's settings, and everything that happens in the the server is being watched. Every internet connection is being monitored. The only full OS systems we use are iBook g4s, and the desktops in the library and tech lab. The screens of the library Optiplexes are in full view of the librarian and the tech lab teacher can watch the server activity from his desk (the server is in a back room connected to the tech lab)

My school's setup, basically:

internet provider > server > airports > computers

Shouldn't have told them, would've been better just to charge students serious bank to change their grades.

If you're talking about SWF game websites, that's what we used in sixth grade.

My school is somewhat protected, but I'm better. :P

Our school blocks nothing. They also once took them (in addition to the "wandering" computers some people (including me) get "their own" computers for various reasons) in for inspection (for some reason they thought people had been research-surfing or something, I assume they were just doing a history check), and I didn't even get in trouble for installing Chrome and Spotify even though school policy mandates that all software has to be installed by the IT guy.

And then there's the time where I got in trouble for downloading EICAR, the IT guy thinking it was a real virus.

i had to set up the printers in the computer lab at my school.

i mean, really.

it's putting in a CD then clicking the right printer.
