It is a song about a guy trying to convince French Girls at a bar he is Rick Springfield. It is part of his full latest album, Artificial Heart. This page will let you preview all the songs from the album. I love the beat to this song; it's awkward, and at first some parts of it reminded me of some kind of remix of My Little Mermaid. In the end, it's such a lovey beat.

The album also includes covers of Still Alive and Want You Gone, seems to be officially endorsed, and I think they're good.

What does that have to do with Rick Springfield?

Jonathan Coulton is a genius, I swear.

This song is amazing. God, I think I'm finally getting tired of it after so many hours of replaying it.

i understand all that song

oh my god lol

Yes, the actual lyrics are weird. I didn't read over the translation, but it has stuff about dogs and such.

I need more people to show this song... I can't help but feel the divided nature of those who might like it or not would be hilarious too witness. The song itself is soooo amazing.

Could someone explain what "Down Today" and "Dissolve" from the same sound track are about? Dissolve seems to be about a guy who's GF left him, with a box on the table. There was something in it... which made everything still, and it only seemed to move because he turned his head... What was it? I'm so confused. And Down Today seems to be about a guy who refuses to stop doing drugs and leaves the person he's with for them?

I understood the entire thing as well.

hooray for having taken 11 years of French.
