Fjords, not Fords. I believe the word is used in english as well (yay, norwegian language has an impact on english).
Geologically, a fjord (/ˈfjɔərd/ or Listeni/ˈfiːɔərd/; also spelt fiord) is a long, narrow inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created in a valley carved by glacial activity.
Not very common outside of Scandinavia though.
