Author Topic: Minecraft - Modloader lied to me? D:  (Read 502 times)

I installed ModLoader for minecraft. I followed the instructions:
Quote
Installation
Windows:
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
Everything was good until #5-6. I deleted META-INF. Then I started minecraft. It gave me a crash report. Does this mean I have to install MC Beta again? :(

make sure there's nothing in the "mods" folder

make sure there's nothing in the "mods" folder
Well the only thing in my mods folder is Single Player Commands mod. And that was there before I even installed this so i doubt it would fix the problem :c

delete it.
the SPC
Back.
I was suprised when the "Mojang" screen popped up because i thought it would work.
But then after a while after it up it went to the crash report screen. I wish I could pull up the details but it just turns black after I try to even scroll down or hilight it.
So basically no luck :(

noo dont stop posting! i have to have modloader cause almost all the mods on minecraft need it to run!

I'm sure this could have just been posted in the actual official Minecraft topic.
