Let's hope it doesn't change course and hit us.
rather, let's hope it DOES

Let's hope it doesn't change course and hit us.

I don't think it can change course, but if it does everyone take a knife and see how many kills you can get before the end of the world.

rather, let's hope it DOES

Emo.

another reason why hydrogen bombs are way loving better than nukes-- why doesn't anyone understand this? Nukes are so overrated

Just to start the fusion process you need the atomic bomb.

I don't think it can change course

Don't hold me this since I'm not an astrophysicist but is it possible the earth's gravity could change it's trajectory quickly enough for it to hit earth?
Or maybe some other celestial body could collide with it and change it's course/larger bodies could "fling" it our way.

Its super close to hitting the moon.

Its super close to hitting the moon.

So we could see it from earth, cooler yet maybe see it collide with the moon?
That's actualy rather awesome.

Its super close to hitting the moon.
I wonder what life would be like without the moon

I'm pretty sure the guys who predicted its path knew that that would happen and let it affect their prediction :I

It wont hit the moon but lets say it passed 2 days ago, then it could probably hit the moon.

Well, tides clean the ocean, and tides are caused by the moon, so the oceans would fill up with gunk/junk/dshdthunk and kill lots, if not all, ocean-dwelling wildlife.

But I'm not a marine biologist so don't hold me to that either.

It would cause tsunamis 24/7

No, we're the scientists, we save Erth.

WE SHOULD TAKE THE EARTH

AND PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE

Good thing I live in Tennessee!

...is it possible for them to be big enough to wipe out western TN? :c

WE SHOULD TAKE THE EARTH

AND PUSH IT SOMEWHERE ELSE

Yeah that would be bad; ~a few miles farther from the sun and we'd freeze, ~a few miles closer and we'd melt.

I had a dream that's pretty relative to this topic, it was a long time into my childhood and for some reason it stayed with me.
