I see an old man with a beard and crown, it's clearly god.

I don't see how people can confuse that for the devil.

This actually makes me angry that people think they see a devil in there.

Jesus forget, its a cloud, I could look up at the sky and pick out thousands of clouds that look like the devil. THis doesn't even come close to looking like a devil or anything.

red being horn, blue being facial features

seriously, check your eyes littledude

It's a common mistake to assume that when a painter depicts a devil, he will always have the horns. I personally do not see any horns.

It's amazing how I never noticed it until TeslaCoil pointed it out and now each time I look at the painting I can spot the face so easily.

Somebody needs to make this Devil an avatar fad now.

Being that this was painted in the 13th century, I wouldn't have ever thought that a painting would have a devil in it.
what? why not?

what? why not?

This was before the Enlightenment Period. People blindly believed in Kings and Queens, and never questioned religion. Their lives were mainly based on religion, so if they were basing their lives off religion, I don't think someone would paint a picture of the devil into their painting.
