Every week when shopping, I always see everywhere a bunch of random junkfood assortments with labels slapped on such as 'fat free', 'cholesterol free' or even 'sugar free'. This wouldn't be THAT much of a problem, except the fact that that's all there is anywhere. You can never find the stuff that you want that doesn't have a metric forgetton of supplements that are indigestible.
I just don't get the logic behind it. If their target consumer audience is supposed to be health-nuts, why would a bunch of stupid health-nuts want with a cholesterol free pack of cookies in the first place. Isn't the point of a healthy diet NOT eating unhealthy food?
And the worst part is that all these substance-free food is even more unhealthy for you due to the stuff they put in it.
So discuss this bullstuff.
