Yup it's almost here.

Now many of you here might not be in the U.S. and other countries and thus do not celebrate this holiday. If that is the case, DO NOT POST ABOUT IT. WE KNOW. THAT IS NOT THE POINT.

Also, if you are going to rant about how another holiday is better or whatever, GET OUT

Taking place on the forth Thursday in the US, Thanksgiving is a day where many people cook turkeys and other foods in part of a whole feast. It's origin can be traced back to the Pilgrims in 1621

Foods include

Turkey
Stuffing
Mashed potatoes
Cranberry stuff
Gravy
Corn
and of course, pumpkin pie (as well as other assorted pies)

Tell me some more sites you might find reputable.

Coincidentally, several other countries also celebrate this holiday.
Canada, Liberia, the Netherlands, and Norfolk Island.
Each country has the holiday on a different date than what it is in the US. For instance, it was on October 10th in Canada this year.

Tell me more stuff and I'll add it to the OP!

Because people think it's "cool"

I was going to try and find something that could be embedded directly onto the forums, but it was a widget.

But why are they playing Christmas songs on the radio?

i'm in it for the apple pie

Nobody ever cares about Thanksgiving :c

Every store has Christmas stuff.

People just want to rush the holidays. I'm not surprised, it's always been like this. It's a shame.

But why are they playing Christmas songs on the radio?

we are thankful for christmas?
