Homefront had a better plot.  Not even BF3 did because BF3 was like some cheesy action movie.

BF3's campaign is god-awful. Hell I might even go as far as to say that MW3's is probably better.
If you don't play online, steer clear of both of these games.

well there's one mission where you have to do something pretty difficult even on easy, but if you're on easy everything else is easy
I played through the easy campaign for AC6 entirely a few times, and on normal once
it was significantly harder, and there's still two difficulties after that, so don't worry about it being too easy either

most FPS games now have bad campaigns, though they often make up for it in multiplayer
if you're not going to be playing online you really shouldn't begin to consider the newer Halo, CoD, or BF games
especially Bad Company

but to be honest, I've played both of the prior Modern Warfare games and their campaigns multiple times through (I do with most games, don't know why though), so really I want to play this new game, if only for the campaign

Call of Duty USED to be good. Then Modern Warfare came out. I thought "sure. Okay. That's a good one time thing" then all of a sudden it's a big stufffest of gratuitous violence. They used to have REAL stories that happened to REAL people. Now even though they have stories, made up or not, nobody cares about them. I know nothing about Black Ops (I don't own it) because NOBODY EVER plays the campaign. It's just multyplayer. I'm sick of Call of Duty. I'm so disappointed with it. They have lost their way and will never return.
