Author Topic: forget, I just broke a stylus.  (Read 541 times)

So, I was going to film the beginning of a school project and when I went to turn on my turntable, I noticed the cartridge slide directly across my album. I thought the stylus just wasn't heavy enough, but on closer examination, I saw that the entire needle was missing. Now I need to buy a whole new cartridge. Fortunately, Audio-Technica makes replacement cartridges for their turntables at around $15. I figure, since my current arm is straight and was designed to operate without a counterweight, now would be an awesome time to buy a whole new arm. Any forum help?

Also, Amazon said that I was supposed to have a replacement cartridge with it, but there's nothing in the box but manuals and a stylus cover (Go figure).

Now that the Stylus is off, I can mess with it without breaking anything.

Same here...

Whatever, I'll find no help here.
