I hate these upload sites (OGM GET OUR PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP!)

I really do. I only found megaupload so far as one of these but I am sure there are more. Forcing me to wait 45 seconds isn't gonna do anything but piss me off.



I am not gonna pay out my ass for some stuffty membership just because you added a bunch of flashy banners and counters.

Discuss websites that seem to only exsist for their own advertising.

I understand they need money for their servers but maybe if they would stop advertising themselves it would work better.

I agree. Why should we have to pay them money just so we can download things fast. They give us all the big features if we buy it but remember. ALL WE WANT IS TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING. Mediafire is a good example. Little ads but 1-click download. I'll say this in a sentence. Why should we have to pay to download stuff?

About half the advetiseing banners are advertising their own software.

megaupload lets you upload up to 1024 MB, mediafire lets you upload 200 MB.

it makes sense that megaupload would be more forcing to downloaders since they seriously need that money. megaupload is probably used for huge uploads that sites like mediafire would reject. with huge files comes the need for more space which, again, costs money.

I think it's an alright idea.

For example: I use 3rd party software for EVE online called eve fitting tool. It's completely free and has helped thousands of players. If he uploads to megaupload and people use that link and have to wait the 45 seconds then the person who made eve fitting tool gets soom money IIRC.

So it's a way of me donating money to someone who has made something available to me for free.

Anyone who uses Megaupload when they can use Mediafire is stupid. Unless, of course, it's to large for Mediafire.

Also holy stuff why doesn't megaupload just put some advertisement banners up sheesh.
