Author Topic: Veteran's Day! 11/11/11  (Read 1039 times)

Today is the day to remember all the veterans who have fought in battle, regardless if they lived or died.

I think it is also the same in Canada, just called Remembrance Day or something.

So do you guys have any family or friends who you are honoring today?

I don't have anyone directly related to me who fought

Scratch that, my uncle was in Vietnam.
My Great Grandpa was in WW2

Except I do have family that has fought in every single war America has been in (Including the revolution and civil war)

Just about every guy on my moms side...

My grandfather was in the Navy during the Korean War.

Most of my (known) grandparents, and almost all of my (known) great-grandparents.

Play Battlefield 3 and act like a badass. :cookieMonster:

we should all scream something today at 11:11 and 11 seconds.

"happy"?... its the day to honor people who have died to remember the people who fought for their countries, maybe you should just change th title to Veteran's Day.

My grandfather went to Korea during the Vietnam war.

That means he didn't shoot anyone, but he's still a Vet.

That's usually what people exclaim on every holiday, I actually debated the title too.

But I've heard people say happy veterans day. I guess I'll change it.

This is a great day to honor our Country's troops, get a day off school, buy Skyrim, and eat bacon for breakfast

Best day ever
