I laughed so hard when that happened. Also im not complaining,  I like the show, it was just a little confusing at first.

If you value the original series, the Rebuilds are a direct middle finger to you. The first one was pretty much a BD restore of the first couple episodes, but beyond that two and three just trample everything that was great about the original. Soundtrack isn't as good either. Mari and Rei Q are characters you'll like if you hate the main cast.

Uh. The entire point of Rebuild was to be completely different from the series, Obviously the third one did a pretty bad job at that but the second one was loving great.

I'm not opposed to the fact that they're different. What I take issue with and what left a bad taste in my mouth after 2.22 and 3.33 is that they do nothing for themselves. The content and folds to the plot that are changed are lifeless and uninspired, but it's not just because it's change. I'm not even asking that they stay in the same exact vein of the original, but mixing the new atmosphere with the old in such a haphazard manner really doesn't sit well with me. Music direction of 2.22 sucked too.
