um excuse you
not being a fan of giant robots doesn't mean you're frickin depressed

or i'm really tired and dont want to have to worry about crazy plot lines and intense dialogue

just to be sure i meant that you'd usually feel like something (usually social) is missing in your life in order to really want to watch slice of life, not you're depressed if you don't like SoL. since there's no real exciting plot most of the time, there has to be something in SoL that you usually don't experience in life, usually in the form of cute girls doing cute things.

that being said, i still don't get it myself. i dropped Lucky Star but i'm able to watch Yuyushiki and enjoy it a lot. though with all cgdct shows, i always find myself smiling, even if i'm really bored. i think i'm creepy.

I liked Lucky Star, but that was like... what, six years ago? And the only reason I watched it was because I kept seeing it in those Knight of Nights YTPMVs all the time and wondered what it was. I'm pretty sure it was my first anime, excluding Pokemon and Sonic X.

But holy forget is Yuru Yuri so much better.

I don't like nichijou because of the lack of deer wrestling I see in my daily life. and I doubt people who watch robot animes watch them because they can't drive giant robots in real life (but I guess that is less far fetched)

Well, in that case, he'd mean the element of excitement and ludicrocity thrown into the most mundane of things, such as catching a small hot dog squid from falling on the floor, not what happens in the anime itself. A fairly decent example.
