Yeah, there are a lot. Slice of Life is a pretty popular genre.

gochuumon wa usagi desu ka (2 seasons)
kiniro mosaic (2 seasons)
non non biyori (2 seasons)
working (3 seasons)
I've tried so hard to get into these, but they've all bored me to death from the get-go, and I don't even dislike the genre at all, but god damn, it just feels like nothing noteworthy really happens. Admittedly, I haven't gotten past the first couple of episodes, but should it really take that much time?

And I guess that's the point, to just have a fun little portrayal of daily life, but it's not a good one if it's boring as hell to watch.

I'm getting the impression that you have absolutely no sense of humor, especially with regards to Working and Non Non Biyori.

I do? I thought Umaru-chan, Haruchika and Nijiro Days were all hilarious at a lot of parts. I can give Working! some credit humor-wise, but Non Non Biyori doesn't really have much redeeming value to me at all.

is food wars worth it? the soundtrack is totally hype

Let's dispel once and for all with this fiction that Kingdaro doesn't know what humor is. He knows EXACTLY what humor is. Kingdaro is undertaking a systematic effort to change his anime tastes, to make his anime tastes more like /a/ and r/anime.

That's why he watched Gochuumon Wa Usagi Desu Ka and Kiniro Mosaic and Non Non Biyori and Working!. It is a systematic effort to change his anime tastes. When he knows his anime tastes, we are going to re-embrace all the things that make humor anime humorous and we are going to leave our children with what they deserve: the single greatest humor anime in the world.

the single greatest humor anime in the world.
... D-Frag?

I'm kinda sad no one mentioned D-Frag thinking back on it now, that show was gloriously hilarious.
