i always thought the name literally meant "titan attacks" or something along those lines. it would make a lot more sense than "attack on titan"

it's easier to market "attack on titan" than "titan attacks," I guess

i started reading shingeki and actually i started to enjoy it but i caught up to it at like chapter 60 or something and haven't found the interest to go back and read the rest

It gets pretty crazy. It's on Chapter 77 now and more plot advancement has happened in the last 17 chapters than in the previous 40. We're at the point where (light spoilers) they're now fighting in order to reclaim the basement. (end of spoilers)

where i left off (spoiler)some weird monkey titan threw a boulder and killed a guy. i know that the girl is the queen and they want the basement back

Alright, I watched the TV series of Madoka magica and I have one thing to say.

Where is my true ending?

Spoilers: Don't get me wrong, the ending of this anime was heart warming and it showed that Homura was not alone and that she still had her friend, madoka, in her mind. It just really bothered me the fact that when one of the magical girls die, they are rarely mentioned, but they still get mentioned most of the time. I wanted an ending where there would be some sort of alternative universe Homura could go to, and all the events would happen, except for the death-including ones, so that in the end, Homura would still have Mami, Sayuka and Kyouko with her instead of just herself and Madoka in her mind. Again, it seems like that would be a good choice, but it felt a bit empty, ya know? I still have yet to watch the movies though, which could bring me my true ending, just don't tell me if it really is or if it isn't. Instead, tell me what movie I should start with after watching the TV-series, so that I could be on track.

Aside from that, this was probably the best anime I have seen. It had a great story, excellent music, the characters were well played, and the setting was really well thought.

I'll say it again just so that I don't want to spoil people, anyone know where the series continues from the movies?

The 1st and 2nd movie is basically the anime in movie format as far as I know, I haven't watched them. You should watch the 3rd movie though

i felt the same way, then i watched the third movie and felt way more satisfied. though, to me, it didn't seem to live up to the hype that was built on it.

3rd movie is Rebellion right?

It's ludicrously good. Definitely #1 this season. I love the concept behind it.

sometimes you're bad at games and you're told to play on stream but it's ok because you do one thing that makes up for losing really badly
