I'm stuck with 720p downloads due to having a 1440x900 monitor, and 1080p videos rocket my CPU usage from 2% to 100%.

1080p downscaled looks markedly better than 720p upscaled imo.

My CPU is really bad but the usage is only 50-60% while watching 1080p. What media player do you use?
