Think I've said this, but even if you don't like mechs and stuff, watch Gundam 0080. The main character is annoying as hell, but the first 4 episodes lead into the last 2, which are amazing. There's less focus on the battles and more on the people.

I've watched Gundam seed destiny and thats all of the gundam i could handle, 99% of mecha just puts me off and i just can't seem to make myself watch it, the only exception is Gurren Lagaan and that is just because it was so focused on good character development that i didn't take too much notice, but i think that it was also the designs of it not looking like your average run of the mill human based optimus prime that is every other mecha anime ever.

What is really happening to the anime industry
I am a devoted anime watcher and this video really says what is going on, i absolutely love things like toradora, fma and all that good stuff which i really really don't want to run out of, but to know where im going with this you will have to watch the video above.
