I need some action. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is boring me a bit, I'll continue to watch it later. For now I shall look for stuff similar to infinite stratos

Edit: suddenly action in series. much confusion

I don't know how it holds up to the VN (probably doesn't, considering all VN adaptions are crap in some form), but White Album 2 is actually not irredeemable stuff compared to a lot of others (like Mashiroiro Symphony, forget that adaptation).

Still a lot wrong with it, though...like the pacing.

Wow. I just started watching Mashiroiro Symphony xD

Mashiroiro Symphony was seriously terrible. I dunno how the original VN is since translations have been on and off (current one is 93% translated common route, but hasn't updated in half a year), but the series is crap...at least it has decent art.

White Album 2 does have the benefit of being adapted from a "kinetic novel," which has no choices and therefore no branching story. Most VN adaptions are of ones with multiple routes and they try to shove every route in somehow.

That makes me a bit worried about Grisaia no Kajitsu's forthcoming adpation, but it's the first in a trilogy and the latter stories sort of shoehorn all of the routes into one from what I hear (only the first VN has been translated so far)

Mashiroiro Symphony

I started watching that once. Didn't even get to the second episode.
