The middle-end of Angel Beats is so poorly thought out and badly written.

First three or four episodes are the best, because the forced drama crap isn't there and it's legitimately enjoyable.

If the visual novel has the same general story, we can hope that it's a little better because it's not squeezed into a 13-episode series with barely any room for development.

yeah, i really wish angel beats stayed comedic, because they set up like 10 different, funny characters and then said "forget IT NOW IT'S DRAMATIC" and stopped focusing on said funny, interesting characters. it wasn't just bad, it was like, insulting.
