Tbh they are doing a terrible job at the whole giant ant battle.
When stuff finally started (after all the piss taking well before that) I was finally excited to watch stuff happen, not see peoples reactions with a narrator saying what everyone did/thought at the time.
The best part of the episodes is that Pitou is in them.

HxH is better than most generic shonens, and being a shonen doesn't have much to do with a poor delivery of a built up battle, hell that's what it should be best at.
