People just don't like things being overrated. Say people were all saying klk was the best anime ever made and that nothing else could even compare to it, but you see it as just an average show, then the people who feel that way devalue it because they don't think it's worth all the recognition.
Then there just people who want to bash stuff everyone likes *cough* Dexxtter *cough* I mean not liking Cowboy Bebop and GITS? BS you gotta have some ulterior motive or something.

Depends on the person really, a reasonable person points out what's not so good or what could be better, whereas a more immature person wont bother with that stuff and will jump straight to "I don't like it its gay you're gay"

I loved that anime

eh the visuals were nice but the story could use some work. It was kind of hard to get in to, quite frankly it just sucked. My main issue was that the main character was just a huge jerk.

Well I never got the point of people using overrated as a valid criticism anyways. It's the criticism after the fact that counts.

And it's not like that's really even worth listening to, as alot of people liking something that you specifically don't is by no stretch of the imagination a problem for you.
