Ghost in the Shell is one of the series that actually pulls philosophy off well because of its setting. Almost every other series that tries is stupidly preachy stuff that was written by someone who was bullied in high school (see: Hamatora, Mahouka).

Also Production I.G. has infinite money for Ghost in the Shell and the 1995 movie still has some of the best animation I've ever seen.

Hisugia No Chaika ended today, at the end [spoilers]Vivi turned into another Chaika because of Marie Antoinette syndrome and the trigger was unwelcomed news.[spoilers]. Wasn't expecting that also [spoilers]Either the main Chaika (chaika with white clothing) may be the real Chaika cause I don't know a reasonable trigger for her to cause Marie Atoinette syndrome (according to Wikipedia) and it may be sorrow and fear but we don't know enough about Chaika to say that. The reasons the other Chaika's might have gone through it could have been; Red Chaika got it cause of anger; Blue Chaika got it because of over indulgence in loveual actives, as said in one of the episodes she said she used aphrodisiacs on men.[spoilers] We haven't met any other Chaika's so far.
