ok look Sword Art Online is trash but it's far from the worst thing I've ever watched

the winter 2013-2014 season had stuff that was so bad that I raised Gundam SEED to 2.

If SAO had been consistently terrible from the start I wouldn't hate it as much, it's more the fact that I was watching it episode by episode from day one and the first 8 or so were actually really good IMO, then they took all that potential and entertainment and forgeted it until it turned into pixies.

Entertainment wise I really liked the first episodes, I used to play a lot of MMOs and all that so the idea of being inside the game (whilst definitely not the first of its kind) was cool. Also Silica. Silica was good.
Then they decided to throw all the action, game related stuff and hot Silica action out the window and go with some 7 year old girl's idea of a romancey kinda thing.
