I'm about to finish Astarotte's Toy.

I really have never felt so emotionally close to any anime characters as I had in this one. Really, it was a beautiful anime itself, and I nearly started crying about now.

Can anyone recommend something like it?

aldnoah - slaine still a stuff
durarara - getting more confusing, ep 4 was pretty budget but still watchable and retains the atmosphere of the first series

rolling girls and saekano are the surprises of the season imo.
assassination classroom is entertaining, not sure how I feel about it yet but koro-sensei is cool.
