I can't stand half the shows in your top 100 list, but some of my favorites appear further down. I think you're cutting Re: Hamatora too short- it's bad but many of the shows above it are worse. Also why does everyone hate on The Irregular at Magic High School so much? I thought it was a fun show but everyone else treats it like garbage.

Makes Attack on Titan look unpredictable. Zero character development. Protagonist is literally Jesus. stuff music. Nonsensical plot.

really, the only things that show has going for it are production values in the first season, a good opening for the first season (because ClariS), and decent character designs. the writing isn't great and none of the characters are likable. if anything, the show is stupidly popular for no reason.

the first season was entertaining enough and the OVAs were pretty eeeeeh, second season was dumb and the second season OVAs are gutter trash

Noragami, Rail Wars, Glasslip were are at least as bad or worse than Hamatora. As far as Mahouka, I had no idea the protagonist was so OP until episode 5 or so, and even then I enjoy overly powerful main characters. As for character development, it's practically impossible to have any sort of development for a character as intensely reserved as Shiba. The plot seemed logical enough, you'd have to explain that one to me.

Noragami was decent,  no idea what you're on about. Glasslip loving sucked but it wasn't 2 seasons long. Rail Wars was trashy but it was entertaining. Glasslip is the ONLY show that you mentioned that even comes close to being as bad.

It's clear from the very beginning that no other character in the ENTIRE series even comes close to being as powerful as he is. But he's somehow considered socially inferior despite being the only character that can do (or cause) anything notable? Yeah ok. The whole thing with the social classes is stupid and clearly pointless.

I can think of a few other overly powerful main characters that are a hell of a lot more enjoyable to watch.

That's dumb as stuff. Having a stoic or "reserved" character isn't an excuse to not develop a character. Not that he needs it anyway, since he's literally a loving robot with reset routines and stuff.

The events themselves more or less made sense, but it was loving stupid and it jumped all over the place.

I mostly agree with you, but I still enjoyed the different style of magic and thought it was better than a lot of the fantasy crap being aired in recent days. I found the main character's ability to do basically anything exciting and having to tame down his magic to keep his cover was interesting. The show was still fun and I think you're cutting it too low by saying it's the worst- I've watched tons of shows with worse plots, characters, fight scenes, etc. At least Mahouka didn't have those annoying and attention-seeking little girls found in practically every other magic anime.

And what's this about? Rising Hope was great and the music did a good job capturing the feel the show was going for.

Glasslip loving sucked

That show is utter trash. It's the worst anime I've ever seen personally. I was hoping the anime would get better later on but it never did, in fact it got even worse as it moved along. Nothing gets explained, all of the characters are bland as heck, and the story is pointless. I don't even understand what happened at the end, nor do I care to try to understand. Don't even attempt to watch that show, it's that bad lol.


Has anyone been watching season 3 of Kuroko's Basketball? It has been getting even more crazy. People who don't like super powers in basketball should stay away from this anime but people who do like that sort of thing, will probably like it a lot. It's so insanely cool imo. So far I've been digging season 3.
