I'll admit I didn't even like Ranko all that much, she just gave that generic 'trying too hard' otaku vibe. The episode giving more insight into the girl behind the "PROVERBIAL WIND" or whatever the forget actually lets you connect to her in a more personal way. I liked it a lot.

I just think it's really funny how she's also voiced by Maaya Uchida. It's like she was born for the role.

(loltypecasting)

I find nichijou to be stupid. In a bad way.

you're stuff, soz

Of all the things you could have said you dislike, you choose the wrong one to say.

So I haven't seen any of the Fate/___ anime, which one should I start with?

prisma ilya you're fine with the newer Unlimited Blade Works, the old ones by studio deen supposedly aren't that great.

I've heard that Fate/Stay Night (The one by studio deen) isn't that good and that Fate/Zero is really good (Made by the same people that made Unlimited Blade Works)

I think I'll just start with Fate/Zero then go onto Unlimited Blade Works

yeah Fate/Zero is supposed to be really good but I think it's the kind of prequel that assumes you already know what the whole thing is about. I think some Tsukihime characters appear in it, not sure though.

From what I know Fate/Zero does spoil some stuff in Fate/Stay Night but it's fine if you skip Stay/Night.

47 minute episodes damn

turns out I was thinking of Fate/Extra but I think all other Type-Moon stuff takes place in the same universe

Ah, okay

speaking of Tsukihime I haven't read it in a while because everyone said to read Arcrueid's route first and holy stuff it's all boring infodumps about how vampires work

but apparently Akiha/Hisui/Kohaku routes are really good so I have to stick it out

Yeah, a lot of people say the series is good if you skip the endless eight. Should i bother with the 2006 series or is the 2009 version the same?
2006 version has 14 unique episodes and the 2009 one has 6 + the 8 stupid episodes. I suggest you watch 2006 first and then do the 2009 and skip the eight "Endless Eight" episodes which are a massive waste of time. 2009 series is more of the same. I don't think the 6 episodes there are retellings of old episodes, I think they're new ones.
