I keep hearing good things about hunterxhunter and gintama, so I was planning on checking those out

I plan on watching HXH sometime

HxH is definitely one of the better shonens out there.
I prefer the original because it takes more time to create the setting and shows more of the characters and universe than the remake, but the quality is worse and it's slower. The remake continues a while after the original ended (though tbh most of the ant arc was filler and boring, except you Pitou, you will always be top neko)

ah yes
I love Trigger's animation style of having no animation at all!

plastic memories is kinda disappointing
it feels a lot like angel beats but doesn't seem to be that level of crushing disappointment yet

if that show doesn't pull an episode 8-13 then it'd probably be better

Speaking of which, Jun Maeda's new thing called Charlotte is supposed to start in July. Judging by the premise (and to a lesser extent, the character design) it'll be like everything he's ever written.

Man, if Kinoko Nasu's thing is the "love is the most efficient method of energy transfer because lolbodilyfluids" then Jun Maeda's thing is "alternate world/rejecting real world because everyone loving died"

HEY I RECENTLY WATCHED MM
I GET THAT JOKE!!!

John help me, I still haven't watched Parasyte. Shia Labeouf isn't helping. ;(

Puella Madoka made me cry.
