which is weird cus watanabe only directed the music of michiko but even so it's so similar in structure to his other works i put it in there

no they're actually pretty damn sub-par

A-1 is like a D-tier studio. their animation is stuff unless if it's SAO, then it's only decent (because budget dump). they only ever adapt light novels, probably the stufftiest medium out there.

any praise towards this studio is extremely undeserved.

I hate to say this but im the same way. I find it hard to watch 80-early 2000s shows because of the artstyle. I will still most likely watch Cowboy bebop someday though.
